The Access is a Wabash Institution. Started in 1985 to serve a community of students living in the (at that time) lower income downtown Wabash area. Those students needed a place to safely be outside of school hours and The Access (Then known as Wabash Level Street Ministries) was born.
Through the years The Access has looked a lot of different ways, and served a lot of purposes. Currently our programming is designed mostly for Middle School and High School students who attend school in the area of the City of Wabash, but out of town students are welcome as well. We offer mentoring, tutoring, programming in schools, afterschool activities, and a safe space for students to safely be, grow, and have fun together at no cost to the student!
